How to be healthy
People have a lots of ideas about how to be healthy. One man from India, named Fauja Singh, has his own ideas for living a long healthy life.
Since, he is over 100 years old, and has ran several marathons, we can take some valuable advice from him. How can he be so healthy at
100 years old? He recommends to do three things to be healthy. He suggests to eat healthy, exercise and smile. First, you should eat a
vegetarian diet, like ginger curry. Ginger lowers the risk of stroke and heart attacks. It also lowers blood pressure. Second, you should walk or run eight miles a day. Walking or running is an aerobic exercise so this activity strenthens your body and increases stamina. This exercise isn't
strenuous so most people can do it. Finally, smile as often as you can. When you smile it can encourage others to smile too. If you follow the
Singh's suggestions to eat healthy food, exercise, and smile as often as you can, then you can have a healthy and long life.
