When visiting Korea it is important to avoid being impolite or rude. Below you will read about some behaviors to avoid and some rules to follow.
For example, first standing close to other people is rude. Because poeple don't like to touch one another.You have to leave extra space between each other. Second, talking down or not using respectful phrases to older people is very rude. Because older people don't like to hear rude or disrespectful use of phrase. So, you have to be as polite as possible to people older than you. At a meal, leaving the spoon or chopsticks in a bowl of rice is impolite. Because we only do that for a dead person's memorial service anniversarys. So, you have to hold the spoon in your hand, or put it down next to your bowl of rice. More children are having smart phones these days. Still some children don't have smart phones, but they have flip phones.I think smart phones are not for children. For example, there eyes can get wores. There test scores can be lower from being on their phones to much. The phones electromagnetic waves can hurt a child's health. They say they have to send messages to friends, search for things, and study. Of course they use it for internet. But they play games too. I think when they are older, they can have phones, but not when they are in elementary sxhool
