Before traveling to korea, It's a good idea to learn about manners. That way you'll avoid misunderstandings and uncomfortable situtions. Here are some useful tips. First, staring at other people is very rude because it makes people feel uncomfortable and mad. It is ok to glance around but do not stare. Second, you must keep about a 1meter distance when you talk to people. When you are too close to a person, he/she feels very uncomfortable and awkward. Third, not using two hands when giving someone something is rude because the reciever feets very upset and it is extremely disrespectful. Please, use two hands when paying for things or passing something to someone. Fourth, you must not make a lot of noise or talk when you eat food because the food could fly out of your mouth and land on someone! It isn't good table manners. Eat in a polite manner and talk only when you finish clearing your mouth of food. The last one is don't speak loudly th subway, It is rude because you can disturb other people. Please don't speak loudly on the subway and cover your mouth with your hand when speaking on your phone. These are five important etiquette rules to keep in mind.
